Founder and CEO of Immunotherapy Regenerative Medicine, Dr. Ernesto Romero López leads the development of advanced regenerative and cellular therapies that keep patient well-being at the heart of every protocol. A graduate in Medicine from the Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit, he enhanced his expertise with forensic-medicine training at the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences, postgraduate studies in regenerative geriatric medicine at Nordic University, and a master’s degree in regenerative medicine from the Universidad Católica de Murcia in Spain.

For more than two decades, he has bridged Latin-American and European research, directing the biotechnology institute Bioplenum and collaborating on clinical studies in Lyon that explore cellular immunotherapies for complex metabolic, neurologic, and autoimmune disorders. As principal investigator in multiple international protocols, he has applied next-generation cell-based technologies to conditions such as diabetes, ischemic injury, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, arthritis, and chronic kidney disease—always prioritizing safety, efficacy, and long-term functional recovery.

Karla Moraima Castolo Sánchez

Dr. Karla Moraima Castolo Sánchez is a distinguished cardiologist and specialist in cardiac rehabilitation. She completed her training as a Surgeon and Midwife at the University of Guadalajara and specialized in Clinical Cardiology at the National Medical Center West of the Mexican Social Security Institute. Subsequently, she obtained an advanced specialty in Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention at the National Institute of Cardiology “Ignacio Chávez” of the Autonomous University of Mexico.

Dr. Castolo Sánchez has worked as a cardiologist at the Mexican Social Security Institute and at Hospiten. She has co-authored various articles and presentations at major cardiology conferences, including the Mexican Congress of Cardiology and the ESC Congress in Munich. She is also a co-author of a chapter in the book “Mexican Clinics of Cardiology, Cardiovascular Prevention.”

Dr. Raúl Rosales Ibáñez has supervised more than 11 bachelor’s theses, 11 master’s theses, and 12 doctoral theses, and has served as an examiner, panel member, or jury in more than 25 theses of various academic levels. In addition, he is responsible for international donations in instances such as CONACyT and various UNAM programs, including PAPIIT, PAPIME, and PAPCA. Jorge Cadena Íñiguez

Is a leading researcher and academic in botany and agronomy, with a notable contribution to scientific knowledge and sustainable agricultural development. Throughout his career, he has published over 109 scientific articles and books, obtained 6 process patents, and registered 19 plant varieties. He is renowned for his leadership in technological innovations, with 17 developments, and his crucial role in training 49 postgraduate talents. He has driven the creation of 87 rural enterprises and has been recognized with academic distinctions and awards, including the Miguel Alemán Valdés Prize for innovation. Dr. Cadena has also made significant contributions to agricultural science and practice through his involvement in important international projects, standing out for his work in biodiversity conservation and agricultural resource management.

Aguiñiga Sánchez Itzen

He began his academic career in Biology at the Faculty of Higher Studies “Zaragoza”, UNAM, where he completed his undergraduate studies, presenting a thesis on the effect of sodium caseinate on the proliferation and differentiation of myeloid cell lines. He continued with a Master of Science at the Postgraduate College, researching the antileukemic potential of Sechium spp. genotypes, and later expanded his specialization with a Master in Nutrition and Food-Drug Interactions at the University of Barcelona, focusing his work on the relationship between nutrition and medicine. His doctoral training began with a Doctorate in Sciences at the Postgraduate College, where he was recognized for his research on the antitumor effect of Sechium P. Browne, followed by a Doctorate in Education at UTEL University, demonstrating an exceptional commitment to scientific research and education.

Edelmiro Santiago Osorio

He began his academic career in Biology at the National School of Professional Studies “Zaragoza”, UNAM, presenting a thesis on the effect of lymphocytes and monocytes on cell proliferation. He furthered his education with a Master’s in Science (Biology) at the Faculty of Sciences, UNAM, expanding his specialization in the field. His education progressed with a Doctorate in Science (Biology) at the same institution, focusing on the study of free radicals in the cellular defense system and DNA damage. His doctoral research explored the induction of Fc receptor expression by Interleukin 1 in normal and leukemic myeloid cells, establishing his profile as a distinguished scientist in biology.

María Guadalupe Ramírez Padilla

Specialized in biology and in vitro culture management, with practical experience in sugarcane plant production and a proven track record of technical skills in hematopoiesis and leukemia, including the handling of various cell lines and laboratory animals.

Co-author of an international scientific publication contributing to the understanding of leukemia treatment, highlighting a commitment to applied research and the advancement of knowledge in the oncology field.

Ana María Altamirano Morales

Biologist graduated from UNAM with experience in biomedical research focused on patient health. She has worked at UMIEZ FES-Zaragoza, contributing to studies on diabetes and liver cirrhosis, and applying techniques such as ELISA, BrdU, flow cytometry, and cell culture. Her work combines scientific rigor with empathy, coordinating teams, ensuring quality processes, and translating laboratory findings into clinical insights that provide clarity and confidence for each treatment.
